The tourist traffic has finally subsided enough to replace the cracked floor in the Bonita building elevator.  It was a three day project, so we did not want to inconvenience guests who could not use the stairs during our busy season.
The steel floor plate was treated with a water proof coating, and the tile replaced with new black tile with a non-slip surface.  This new surface will help keep guests from slipping and falling from mop or pool water.
The Delphin building elevator is scheduled next, and will be completed as soon as possible.  Also, FYI, an order has been placed for five replacement floor indicators that have burned out LED's and was causing confusion as to what floor the elevator was ...

Hopefully by now everyone has recieved their Standards & Improvements Survey sent in the US Mail last Thursday.  

Due to an oversight on our part, some of you may not have receieved a return envelope.  Those that did, only had one stamp.  Please note that the pre-addressed stamped return envelope requires TWO stamps, not one.  

To insure there is no delay, please be sure to add the extra postage before mailing, or better yet, complete the survey on-line.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

We are anxious to get your results back, so the Board may address the many quality standards and improvement issues that have been raised in emails, phone calls to the Board, and Trip Advisor.

Now that the summer craziness has subsided, the much needed break for the coming months gives us time to bring Las Palmas back into tip top shape. Here are a few photos of the many projects our crew has been working on.  There are even more photos in the Repairs 2014 photo album.
