This month has been very hectic and I am sure I have been driving few people crazy...... I hope as we owners work together our Las Palmas community will be an example of teamwork.
First and for most I thank you for giving me and the rest of board this opportunity... This will be a wonderful learning experience for the Board and I hope for all of the home owners as we progress in to prosperity in 2009
I want to express my gratitude to Dan, Jerry, Francisco and Shannon for all their help in my first month as a Board member.
1. Francisco's update of progress with city hall and electricity rate change was sent out.
2.Francisco has been very graces and helpful to assist me with our first audit. I have decided to start auditing our 2008 expenses that way I will learn who is our accounts payable and the cycle of items. This way as 2009 progresses we will be on the same page.
Francisco is assisting me, so next time I go down to Rocky Point i will meet CPA Osvaldo Beltran and Mr Beltran will have the first six months of account payable invoices for me to audit. then the following month I can audit last six months of 2008.
3.The HOA Office has whole set of original agreements to each of our tenants made at developers time which are still all in effect and they will expire in 2011. Francisco will provide us copy's to the board so we will be prepared to renegotiate new leases in 2011.
4.Shannon is working on giving us the information on our USA bank accounts for Las Palmas HOA. I should have that information next months News letter.
