MANAGER’S UPDATE
SUMMER – FALL 2008
Dear Las Palmas Home Owners,
Summer has been eternal this year; we have gone through the hottest & most humid months of the year (June thru September) as we are still enjoying a nice warm weather in October.
We have managed to complete projects through this summer as Baja Building Ocean front side painting has been completed.
Baja Building Pool Cool deck re-building project was also completed.
Old decking had to be completely removed before starting working on the new layer.
Once removed & cleaned the application of the first layer started.
After the first layer was completed & all dried, the cool decking layer was ready to be applied.
This is the Baja Pool Cool decking re-built, ready to go.
Swim-up Bar remodeling Project was also completed.
More Building signs were installed on each & every floor for security purposes.
We have replaced the Propane tanks originally installed by developer, reinforcing our security for safe Propane Tanks and lines installations all over our resort.
It was first the task of removing the old propane tanks which was not an easy job.
After removing the Old tanks, time to get the new ones in its place had come. Several maneuvers were required to accomplish this objective.
These are the new propane tanks already installed.
We have continued improving the common areas & at the same time saving water on irrigation as more area has been covered with stone. Those areas chosen to be turned into stoned grounds are areas difficult to maintain narrow, not very attractive, high traffic and take high volume of water.
This water saving strategy will help us reduce of water bill.

Landscaped areas have been kept in good condition & attractive to the eye of guests, renters & owners.
We will start heating the Grande Building Pool as soon as the weather gets cooler, we still continue to enjoy a very nice warm time.
Please plan to attend the 2008 General Assembly on Saturday November 22nd at 10:00 AM at our Club House. Donuts, Coffee, Water, Soda, etc will be available as usual. Assembly call package is already on US mail.
