Dues Issue Fails To Muster Votes

The results of the vote to change the dues scheme are in
and the turn out is very poor. Shannon has confirmed that
she has only received 59 ballots. It did not achieve the
75% majority needed to pass.

The board members were in communication with each other
this past holiday week, working together to try to be as
lenient as possible regarding the deadline of votes for
those out of the U.S., however the participation was not
anywhere close to where we needed it to be.

The board will try to have an informal meeting in mid
January to discuss how we will be moving forward and where
we go from here in addition to other topics.

The board is sincere in communicating with the membership
and will try to improve some of the things that were
discussed at the last homeowners meeting.

Additionally, the lack of participation by the majority of
the owners is a great challenge for the Association if we
truly want to make changes that the majority want. This
will be one of the topics on their agenda.
