As an attendee at Las Palmas HOA meeting this past Saturday I am baffled at disturbed by item 3 in your Newsletter. By commission or omission owners are mislead or deceived by these statements. Please inform me and the other owners under what legal theory or authority State of Sonora Condominium Law no longer is the supreme text by which all condominium HOA's must abide.
It is a fact undisputed by the two Notorios and Las Palmas HOA Attorney that the condominium law is controlling and that all other documents regulating condominium HOA's are inferior in force. Your concluding newsletter states in part - this is all facts - can only be credible if the controlling law is ignored.
The Saturday meeting was controlled by lengthy discussion of this very problem including a weighted vote. A committee was appointed to assist the board in quickly resolve of this controversy.
Any future Las Palmas newsletter must be checked for distortion intended or now.
